1. Ownership of Customer Content
FlaskTrack does not claim ownership of customer-created content.
Customers remain responsible for ensuring they possess the rights, permissions, licenses, or authority required to upload and manage content within the platform.
2. Respect for Intellectual Property
Users may not upload, distribute, store, publish, or otherwise make available content that infringes the intellectual property rights of another party.
This includes infringement of:
- Copyrights
- Patents
- Trademarks
- Trade secrets
- Licensing agreements
- Contractual confidentiality obligations
Customers are solely responsible for content they upload or make available through the Service.
3. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe content hosted through FlaskTrack infringes your copyright, you may submit a written copyright complaint.
We will review valid notices and take action where appropriate.
Depending on circumstances, actions may include:
- Requesting additional information
- Restricting access to content
- Removing content
- Suspending accounts
- Terminating repeat infringers
4. Information Required in a Notice
To help us investigate a claim, please include:
- Your full legal name
- Organization name (if applicable)
- Contact information
- Description of the copyrighted work
- Description of the allegedly infringing content
- Location of the content within FlaskTrack
- Evidence of ownership or authorization
- A statement made in good faith that the use is unauthorized
- A statement that the information provided is accurate
Providing complete information helps us investigate and resolve reports more efficiently.
5. Counter Notifications
If content is removed or restricted as a result of a copyright complaint, the affected customer may submit a counter-notification where applicable.
Counter-notifications should explain:
- Why the content is authorized
- Why the content does not infringe
- Any applicable licenses or permissions
- Any applicable legal defenses
FlaskTrack may review counter-notifications and take additional action as appropriate.
6. Repeat Infringers
FlaskTrack reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate intellectual property rights.
Factors that may be considered include:
- Number of complaints received
- Severity of violations
- Evidence provided
- History of prior enforcement actions
7. False Claims
Knowingly submitting false, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive infringement claims may result in rejected notices, account actions, or other remedies available under law.
Copyright disputes should not be used to interfere with lawful research, competition, criticism, commentary, or authorized use.
8. Scientific & Research Materials
Many customers use FlaskTrack to manage scientific and research-related information.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they possess appropriate rights to upload and store:
- Research papers
- Scientific publications
- Laboratory protocols
- Technical documentation
- Images
- Presentations
- Training materials
- Reference documents
FlaskTrack does not independently verify ownership or licensing status of uploaded materials.
